Our opinion:
Basic accommodation in a good location for beach lovers.
Located near the bottom of a steep road with the beach a couple of minute's walk away, the village of Lindos is only a 15 minute walk away from the studios. There is a selection of bars, restaurants and tavernas close by. The Lindos Avra Studios are traditional in style, well maintained and in a great location for beach lovers. A torch is recommended for returning to the accommodation at night.
Please note that the walk from the Lindos Olympic Holidays general reception to the accommodation is approximately 30 minutes (your luggage will be transported separately)

15/20 minute walk to nearest bank/exchange
Approximately 30 minute walk to St Paul's Bay.
Accommodation
All of Avra Studios are basic and well-maintained. All studios and apartments have single beds, a 2 ring cooker, air conditioning (payable locally), private bathroom with hand held shower and access to a private or shared balcony or terrace. Studios for 4 people and apartments for 4/5 people have an upper mezzanine sleeping area and steps down to the kitchen/bathroom area. Two apartments for 3/4 people are located above a taverna.
We have stayed at the Avra Apartments twice now, they are in our opinion the best place to stay in Lindos! Right on the beach, perfect position. They are basic but clean, the equipment provided is basic but all you need as restaurants are so plentiful. Lindos is very beautiful and there is something for everyone. We have stayed in Lindos 8 times now but the Avra is the best accomodation by far.

The reception is at the top of the village and is where you will be dropped off by the coach. Your lugguage will be picked up and put on a small trailor where it will be transported to your accommodation. You will then be asked to walk to the accommodation with the rep - its about 20 minute stroll but its a great way of seeing the centre of Lindos and soak up the atmosphere. The only other time you will need to visit the reception is departure day when the same will happen but in the opposite direction!!!

We just love the Avra Apartments, located right on the main beach, its so quiet at night-time but you do have a handful of restaurants very close by. its only a ten minute stroll to the main village where there are many fantastic rooftop restaurants. We have boys aged 11 and 7 years old and they are so excited to be going back to the Avra again this year. They never get bored and its so safe. When the crowds leave the beach late afternoon its great to sit and watch the sun go down until 10pm!! Its also lovely to get up really early to watch the sun rise.

Just come back from Lindos - stayed at Avra Apartments. Excellent location, right next to the beach. Apartment was basic, but clean and roomy, so ideal for our needs. Beach and sea were perfect, as was Lindos itself. Would definitely holiday ther again.Well done!

been to Avra , 7 times in ten years ..that tells its own story ..been with kids , as a couple and with a mate ..if u can find anywhere more laid back during the day that comes alive after 8pm on a night i wanna here about it ..ive got a saying about Lindons ..everyone who goes there n stays at the Avra goes back ! ..Marty ,middlesbrough ..ps ..so keep it to yourselves our u will spoilt it !

Thirteenth time to Lindos but first time to the Avra, will definitely be going back! Apartments are basic (as they all are in Greece) but quite big - we had 4 beds in ours with 2 on a mezzanine floor. But the best thing is the location, right on the beach - perfect!!
