Our opinion: A terrific value option for a fun-filled stay in one of the prettiest spots on Rhodes.

The Finas Hotel Apartments are ideally situated in the charming village of Pefkos, a great place to while away a week or two, unwinding under the glorious Greek sun. A lively, yet laid-back resort, Pefkos boasts one of the island's best beaches; so you're already on to a winner. Couple that with the culturally rich, historical town of Lindos being close by, and there is not a chance of boredom setting in.

You'll receive the warmest of welcomes at the Finas and be made to feel at home until you leave. The simple but comfortably furnished rooms provide the perfect base for your stay whether spent exploring the beauty of the region or giving in to the lure of the lovely beach a short, downhill stroll away. There's plenty going on at the hotel too, with pool tournaments, aqua aerobics and more.

To slow the pace, spend the day chilling out by the pool, sipping cocktails and admiring the tropical gardens where a couple of resident peacocks roam. Children have their own section of the pool and sand pit to mess about in, with early meals to ensure you're able to relax over traditional Greek cuisine in the evening. Build your stamina to sustain you to the small hours as entertainment is key here. Prepare to make lots of new friends at one of the party nights that help make the Finas a firm favourite with guests. Please note that due to the location of this property being on a hill, there is a steep incline heading towards the main entrance and may be difficult for people with walking difficulties or wheelchairs.

It is with deep regret, Finas Hotel, has put me of Rhoads Completely,I have just come back from a two week holiday at the Finas,And I would not recmmend it to any one,To start of the block No's 173 to178 are not good are the the bottom floor flats, the first floor flats I will give a bye,as I no nothing about them

Comments from Olympic Holidays Overseas Manager: I am here with my Head rep who is always at this property. I have spoken to the rep and no issues have been reported about these rooms and we have had no complaints in resort.

      Comments from Finas Hotel:

      30TH JUNE 2011

In regards to the email relating to the complaint on the Olympic holidays website about block (173-178) we find this impossible to believe and unrealistic as not only are all of our rooms maintained to a high standard but these are our newest rooms and have never experienced this type of complaint in the past. These rooms overlook the pool area and have beautiful views of the landscaped gardens.

We have conducted our own inspection of the rooms and have taken photographic evidence of both the mattress and the bathroom areas and in our opinion these do not appear to be “soiled mattresses or fugus ridden bath tubs surrounds”

We would like to add that no such complaint has been made by this or any other guest to ourselves or to our knowledge the Olympic Holidays appointed Finas Hotel Rep.

Our guests are very important to us and we continue to ensure that their holiday experience is a good one.

      Regards, Finas Hotel

  4. Olympic Holidays Olympic Holidays at 02:07 pm, 27 July 2011

Had a great holiday here, rooms are clean but basic. The staff really make the holiday whilst we were there they helped my fiance organise a cake ballons, and flowers for my birthday. Also they decorated a table in a quiet location of the restaurant as they knew he was going to propose, so well organised  with champagne ect and kept it all secret from me too. Would not hesitate to go back! Highly recommended. Olympic Holidays were well organised too with transfers excursions ect.

  5. Olympic Holidays Olympic Holidays at 08:07 pm, 27 July 2011

  6. Olympic Holidays Olympic Holidays at 03:08 pm, 4 August 2011

We stayed at the Finas a few years ago. Unfortunatly the attitude of the manager then was appaling, this was due to playing late night, early morning boxing and football matches at full volume. although a complaint was put to the reps then. nothing was ever done about it.  Have things changed so much? the rooms were of a basic but clean standard and the hotel itself was of good order. We have not returned to the Finas because of the attitude of managers and reps alike. We would love to hear your response to these coments.
    Yours Colin Morrey

    • Olympic Holidays Olympic Holidays at 02:08 pm, 6 August 2011

Thanks for your comment but please note that this hotel has improved immensely since your last stay a few years ago. It is extremely popular and a very good value hotel set in a perfect location. The staff, management (& reps) are very helpful and personable.

  7. Olympic Holidays Olympic Holidays at 10:08 pm, 8 August 2011

Hey counting down the weeks until the next visit to Finas.
I have to say, cannot say a bad word about any of the staff, facilities or reps at this hotel.
They really do go out of their way to make your holiday fantastic. Yes the accommodation facilities are basic, but the property does not claim to be the Ritz. It is clean and tidy, with the rooms cleaned everyday but Sunday. If you need fresh towels if the cleaner has not called, reception will only be too happy to help out.
The hotel provides great entertainment at night, so you can enjoy a cocktail or beer after dinner, and have a laugh too... Great fun all of the staff...

  8. Olympic Holidays Olympic Holidays at 11:08 am, 12 August 2011

I am going to these apts in 3 weeks time with my wife and 18 yr old daugter for a week.... I have probably made the mistake of reading many reviews on various websites about these apartments which range from fantastic to   to terrible... however I am going there with an open mind and will review the holiday on here on my return...

    • Olympic Holidays Olympic Holidays at 11:08 am, 12 August 2011

You will not be disappointed - this is a popular friendly hotel in a beautiful resort with a tiny number of complaints bearing in mind the large number of people that we book into this hotel.

      • Olympic Holidays Olympic Holidays at 08:08 am, 15 August 2011

Are they still playing loud music at night? go there in 2 weeks time and worried

        • Olympic Holidays Olympic Holidays at 07:08 am, 19 August 2011

well after having no reply I suspect tehy are still playing loud music then?

          • Olympic Holidays Olympic Holidays at 09:08 am, 19 August 2011

No the music is not loud. We have asked the hotel staff to soften the music and this is now not a problem.

            • Olympic Holidays Olympic Holidays at 02:08 pm, 19 August 2011

Great now I am looking forward to going!!

          • Olympic Holidays Olympic Holidays at 12:08 pm, 19 August 2011

            Hi Karen
I have just come back from staying here for 2 weeks.  the music is not loud at all and we were staying in an apartment close to the bar area. Like all Greece the studios are pretty basic but lets face it your not staying in them all day long are you.  We enjoyed the place enormously.  Go to the place next door called Anixis fantastic food and you can use their pool, much quieter than Finas.
            Hope you enjoy it.

            Janet

            • Olympic Holidays Olympic Holidays at 02:08 pm, 19 August 2011

Hi Janet it was nice of you to reply so quickly.  I am glad the music is not loud knowing Greek law!!! We are used to basic in Greece so that is no problem we cannot wait to go been to Rhodes 4 times but never Pefkos so really looking forward to it Thanks for the advice we will definetly go to the Anixis
              Happy Holidays!

        • Olympic Holidays Olympic Holidays at 10:08 pm, 27 August 2011

Still playing music we did not find it that loud and we liked it some abba we went out most nights and if we were back we would sit and listen to it it stop about 11pm thats the time they have to now so we were told ...have a great hoilday...

    • Olympic Holidays Olympic Holidays at 10:08 pm, 27 August 2011

Keith having just reported on here not all good  .....we did enjoy our holiday and staying at the Finas is not that bad  like i said you get what you pay for ... we will go back and stay at the Finas so can't be that bad .. it was'nt anymore than we exspected hope you and your family have a great time ....

  9. Olympic Holidays Olympic Holidays at 09:08 am, 15 August 2011

we have just returned from 1 week at the finas and although we carnt fault most of the staff as they are very keen to ensure you have a good time, having said that the cleaner who was suppose to clean our room needs sacking !! our room was dirty on arrival and was never cleaned for the full week. dirty floors, mirrors, sink, balcony.  the whole place needs a general clean and tidy which would make this a great place to stay. would highly recomend the elini just 5 mins away , stayed there many times and will do in future.

    • Olympic Holidays Olympic Holidays at 10:08 am, 15 August 2011

Comment from Resort Manager - ''I just spoke with the hotel and the reception is covered 24 hours a day and they have a cleaner on standby at all times. There is no mention of this being reported. The cleaners go in all rooms everyday to clean.''

    • Olympic Holidays Olympic Holidays at 02:08 pm, 22 August 2011

David I totally agree about the cleaner.  but i think it is the fault of the hotel.  DEFINITELY NOT ENOUGH STAFF!!!  We found cleaner very poor and the only excuse i would give her is that she has possibly too much to do.  also i found the place to be tooooo British.  When I go abroad I go for the culture of the country i'm visiting.

      • Olympic Holidays Olympic Holidays at 02:08 pm, 22 August 2011

We are sorry that you feel this way about the standard of cleaning but we do not have any issues reported to us in resort and the feedback on the ground is very positive. Yes, the majority of the guests staying at this particular hotel are British or Irish.

        • Olympic Holidays Olympic Holidays at 01:08 pm, 25 August 2011

i understand they are irish or british staying in the hotel - but when i'm in greece I go there to have a greek holiday - not a british holiday in greece.

        • Olympic Holidays Olympic Holidays at 10:08 pm, 27 August 2011

We found the greek guy on night duty was a very pleasant lovely man sorry to say the girls on days not so helpfull did'nt wont to know we paid for air con on arrival was given a slip of paper saying 5% off nothing saying had to go next morning to get this we didnt arrive untill 6am so went a couple off days later to be told you are to late my till will be out if i give it to you now  as for the cleaners well they need a lesson in cleaning bins emptyed thats about all.. sun beds nearly all broken.. looking to go back in September but  your prices are double ....WHY ... ?? we have just been in July love Rhodes and yes would stay at the Finas again if it was as cheap as it was because you do get what you pay for so didnt exspect anymore if you pay more then you exspect better.

          • Olympic Holidays Olympic Holidays at 12:08 pm, 28 August 2011

Resort Manager's comments - ''Just spoken with the reception and yes they do give 5% discount off air con but the reason they did not get this was the night porter does not have a float to deal with air con payments. Also on reception in the day is a girl that also does not deal with air con payment. (Only the morning receptionist that deals with it.) So it is true one of the girls said she would be short from her cash flow. This has now been resolved and the night porter can deal with all air con and discounts.

Re the sunbeds my rep just went to look and all the sunbeds were full at 11.25pm and at present none look broken.

Re the bins not being emptied the hotel is checking this with their cleaners but this has not been reported by anyone before now.''

Hi can anyone tell me where abouts these are located? we have been to Pefkos before and stayed at Summer memories. was thinking of Booking for the 1st week of october

    Thanks

    • Olympic Holidays Olympic Holidays at 05:09 pm, 7 September 2011

I too have stayed at Summer Memories & also the Finas. The Finas is on the same main road but about 10 minute walk from where you stayed. (turn right when you get on to the road outside Summer Memories) It is a lovely stroll from there into the town or down to the beach, & right next door to Anixis, the BEST taverna in Pefkos run by a fab local family, serving traditional cuisine. Hope this helps.

  12. Olympic Holidays Olympic Holidays at 09:08 pm, 28 August 2011

just returned from 1 week at Finas and have to say thought standard of rooms to be very poor. As a family of 3 adults and 2 children we had 2 rooms and both were not cleaned in the week.Beds and furniture were of poor standard fridge was old and rusty. I dont think this accommodation is 3 star quality

    • Olympic Holidays Olympic Holidays at 09:08 am, 29 August 2011

We are sorry that you feel this way and will take this further with our resort teams. We have been advised that the rooms are cleaned daily to a very high standard and the hotel is definitely of 3 star quality. Many of the guests return year after year.

  13. Olympic Holidays Olympic Holidays at 11:08 pm, 28 August 2011

A few negs....  but come on didnt pay for 5* accomadation in all a lovely place to spend your hoilday whilst in Rhodes yes would recommend it and will stay there again hopefull very soon ... and Kelly was lovely the Olympic rep .... Finas is a great place to stay .....

    • Olympic Holidays Olympic Holidays at 09:09 pm, 2 September 2011

Thinking of going here . Any advice 15 yrs  grandaughter and ourselves, very old people !!!!! is it that hilly in area? I use a walking stick, and some days are worse than others,  access to buses and taxis ?   and  is it famillies or mainly under 30 age groups. please?  Mainly want a relaxing holiday, not too lively for us, but not too dead for our girlie.with access to lively areas, bars, food etc .

      • Olympic Holidays Olympic Holidays at 05:09 pm, 7 September 2011

This accomodation is not recomended for people with walking difficulties due to its location. The rooms are up to 3 floors high but are also staggered uphill through the grounds. You will be fine here if you have a ground floor room at the front & want to stay local throughout your stay. Your Grandaughter would love it.The buses & taxis are at the other end of the town & the beach is a good 10 minute walk downhill, prob much longer with walking difficulties. If you want to use the public transport & holiday in Pefkos, I would suggest you stay more central eg Coliseum, Summer Memories, or  other accomodation near that end of town, where there are plenty of bars & restaurants nearby.

  14. Olympic Holidays Olympic Holidays at 04:09 pm, 3 September 2011

just back from my 2nd stay at finas, the rooms could  do with updating but staff top notch. i'll be back next year

  15. Olympic Holidays Olympic Holidays at 04:09 pm, 4 September 2011

We've just returned from a 2 week stay at the Finas and was very dubious about staying there after reading all the neg reviews after we'd booked. Needn't have worried, we enjoyed our stay there very much. Our room was cleaned everyday and we constantly had fresh clean towels. We went self catering and although a piece of working top would of been ideal to prepare the food instead of the kitchen sink/draining board, we had all equipment available for our needs. Staff friendly & helpful, will definately be looking at going back again

  16. Olympic Holidays Olympic Holidays at 09:09 am, 7 September 2011

I have just returned from a week at the Finas (booked a week before departure) with my family and friends.  We were sorry to leave Pefkos, a lovely resort but not the Finas.  I read the reviews on Trip Advisor and the Olympic website, during the booking process, which were quite scathing but decided that we should go with an open mind because the agent, Voyager Travel Direct, assured us that we were getting a new 2 bedroom apartment!  WRONG – nothing new about our run-down 1 bed apartment.  On arrival to our room I was quite disturbed by the un-cleanliness of all the areas, communal walkway leading to the apartment, apartment floor (throughout), surfaces, kitchenette area, bathroom and balcony.  The following morning I asked the poignant question to Kelly, the Olympic rep, “how often are the apartments cleaned?”  Kelly redirected my question to the Finas receptionist, also named Kelly, who proudly confirmed “everyday.”   I pointed out at this point, light-heartedly, that I could knit a jumper with the amount of pubic hairs on our bathroom floor!  She apologised but did not really show any real interest and the cleanliness did not improve from there on in. The floors were never swept or mopped (I know this because I strategically placed items on the floor that never moved – sad I know!)  The floor/wall at the end of the kitchen sink unit was disgusting with staining/splats from discarded tea bags that had missed the bin.  The bathroom floor, my real bug bear, had an accumulation of hairs around the edges and staining around the base of the toilet pan and the shower curtain had seen better days.  Other general gripes were; the towels, which looked liked they had been in circulation for about 10 years (thread bare, grey and stained) were only changed once during our 7 day stay on the Tuesday and not even a full compliment of towels for 3 people – this was the same for our friends too, bed sheets that were too small for the mattress and no mattress protectors or pillow protectors.  Thankfully I had the foresight to pack Jif kitchen wipes and that coupled with a purchase of bleach from the supermarket made my stay in Grimsville more bearable.  We used this place as somewhere to sleep and nothing else.  There is much better 3* accommodation available else where e.g. Pefki Island Resort.  Never again will I ignore accommodation reviews that are screaming out to me “do not go here.”

    • Olympic Holidays Olympic Holidays at 02:09 pm, 17 September 2011

      Reply from hotel management

''Firstly we would like to point out that the room allocated ‘1BED APARTMENT’ will have been the room type booked by the guests via ‘Voyager Travel Direct’. Finas Hotel does not have any 2 BEDROOM APARTMENTS and so if the guests were sold this then it is the mistake of the travel agent.

As the receptionist correctly said the rooms are cleaned everyday (other than a Sunday – maid’s day of rest). All rooms are cleaned and then checked by reception staff prior to guest’s arrival to ensure everything is in order. Sweeping and mopping the floor is also carried out each day by the maids and the hotel would like to point out that it is not the job of the cleaner to tidy away or move guests belongings – many guests do not like the cleaning staff to touch their belongings - and so she would not move items that were placed on the floor but simply mop around them. The towels being used in the rooms were brand new for the beginning of season (as with every year) and so are barely 3 and a half months old.

Management and reception staff will work together with the maid’s to ensure that cleaning standards are met and continue to carry out room and spot checks. The hotel wants all guests holiday experience to be as good as possible and takes the above matter seriously.

      Regards,
      Finas Hotel''

  17. Olympic Holidays Olympic Holidays at 05:09 pm, 16 September 2011

Hi, I stayed at Finas with my 8 year old daughter for one week from 1st June this year.  It was the first time she'd been abroad (birthday treat) and as I'd been to Rhodes before and got such a good deal I thought why not.  When I booked I didn't know anything about the hotel and was pleasantly surprised on arrival.  Our accommodation was on the ground floor and so very convenient for all amenities.  Yes - the music was a little loud at times but not overbearing.  Good food and good value for money and not too far to walk to the centre for restaurants etc.  I would return with my whole family.

How long does it take to get to the beach?
What type of beach is it eg white sand, pebble?

    • Olympic Holidays Olympic Holidays at 05:09 pm, 17 September 2011

Harvey... about 10 minute walk from Finas.. sandy beach but now white but ok....

  19. Olympic Holidays Olympic Holidays at 05:09 pm, 17 September 2011

I spent a week at the Finas with my wife and daughter returning on August 14th... Pefkos is fabulous, the location ofthe studios is just perfect... I have written on here before we went saying I was a bit worried about the reviews I have read.... yes the studios are basic but I knew that would be the case having been to Greece before... the noise was not bad from the bar at all and we were fairly cose to it...3 in a studio room... yes the rooms were not cleaned every day but bins were emptied most days,,our towels were ok and yes the studios are a little 'dated; but hey we went there SC and ate out every night, the room is just a sleeping base and for the price we paid they were just great.. staff were great and helpful.... good places to eat off to the left of the place..Nicholas and Anixis.... the village is a great place to go very family orientated and most places close around 0100... no lager louts... it apears we left them all at home that week!!! Realy enjoyed our time there and would go again tomorrow...

Thinking of staying here what are the beaches like?

  21. Olympic Holidays Olympic Holidays at 03:09 pm, 21 September 2011

Just spent a week here, booked a studio for my parter and I, loved Pefkos, can really recommend the location.

A quick run down on our view of the hotel and location.

Pro's: Great bar in hotel, fantasitic location in Pefkos, lovely small beach which is very quite and has the most clear water and amazing views of the mountains, good food and bars in Pefkos, basic apartments with towels, pool water is clean and the surrounding gardens are nice, majority of the staff friendly and helpfull, nice vibe in the hotel and quite sociable.

Con's: Our room was 'cleaned' every night but this meant the floors were sweeped and beds made but that was it. There were cobwebs in the room and shower all week! Yellow gunge on the bathroom walls, dirty toilet bathroom etc... assuming with cobwebs it hasnt been cleaned properly for months.
We booked on the website which said studios have double beds/twins, when we got there we asked Rachel for a double bed as per the website, we were dismissed with 'studios dont have double beds' and that 'we were wrong the website doesnt say that', when i asked if one could be put in as we were celebrating our engagement we were told simply 'no' and again dismissed. Having checked the website we were indeed right they are advertised as doubles...and there is not a room booking option for a double so no way of booking it!... i find this as extremely bad service and verging on rude from the hotel staff not willing to help..
There is terrible culture of sunbeds being taken and people not using them at the hotel. At around 7am the kids from the families put towels down on the sunbeds, by 10am we were lucky to find two together. We counted 36 sunbeds empty with towels down, 6 people in the pool and 10 in the bar... says it all.

We really enjoyed our time in Pefkos but if we returned would probably go to another resort.
All above comments are our own opinion, the comments other people have made about the cleaning are obvisouly true no matter what Olympic say!  Dont get me wrong there not BAD just you expect a little more when you pay good money for a 3 star hotel, even in greece.

  22. Olympic Holidays Olympic Holidays at 11:09 pm, 21 September 2011

Just returned from a two week stay at the Finas, the staff were lovely but the room was not great. I paid an Under Occupancy fee and was expecting to have two bedrooms, however when we arrived to a room with two single beds and a pull out sofa with a travel cot I wasn't impressed to say the least. Later that evening when trying to sleep I discovered the fold out bed collapsed when moving. The room was cleaned 3 times during the two weeks and clean towels only twice. Also I could not get any sunbeds during the day around the pool but luckily pools in Pefkos allow anybody to use them.
A great atmosphere in the bar area at night but I was sadly let down by the cleanliness and comfort of my room.

    • Olympic Holidays Olympic Holidays at 10:09 am, 25 September 2011

Hotel response - ''In response to Mr. Miles’ e-mail, the hotel would firstly like to question which travel agent has charged him an under occupancy fee for 2 bedrooms as his booking clearly states that he booked ONE STUDIO 2/4 WITH ADDITIONAL COT for his family of 5 and not a 2 bedroom apartment. Unfortunately the sofa bed issue was not reported to reception until the guests were checking-out and so the hotel was un-aware of there being an on-going problem.

Cleaning staff are on-site everyday except Sunday and rooms are cleaned 6 times per week. Every room has 2 sets on towels and sheets per week. The hotel would like to stress and make sure guests are aware that it is not the job of the cleaner to tidy-up guests belongings, the cleaner cleans the surfaces.

The hotel has 3 levels of sun-beds around the garden and pool area. During July and August with the school holidays the pool obviously gets very busy with families coming down to use the facilities early in the morning.

The hotel continues to work hard at ensuring all areas of the complex: pool, rooms and bar are kept up to as high a standard as possible.

      Regards, Finas Hotel.''

just returned from a week at finas and was pleasantly surprised after reading all the negative comments. Our room had the most magnificent views.  Yes it was basic but we are in Greece and I prefer this to all the new glitzy modern apartments.  I thought the staff who I met were all helpful and had no problems there.  For the price we paid it was excellent value!

Just returned from a 2 week stay at the finas. This is out fourth time in the resort, but we stayed at the finas 2 years ago and decided we would return to celebrate my birthday we brought along another 16 friends who also stayed at the hotel for the first time. Kelly you have a fab memory remembering Ken and myself from 2 years ago. Our room was cleaned everyday except sundays which is the maids day off, towels and bedding where changed twice weekly and all the bins where changed every day again except sundays. The rooms are basic but ample for our needs, a double bed, plenty of wardrobe space, the kitchen is small but i only used it for basic needs, i was on hoilday to enjoy the local food not cook, the fridge was more of an assest. The entertainment was great we had our own fancy dress theme as Hawiian as a pre birthday giggle and joined in on the BBQ nite at the karaoki. The only nights that was a little noise was on the last nite when guests where going home but thats was great to hear people having fun on their last nite and to appreciate the hard work in  high temps the hotel staff do.  I read about the towels on the sunbeds situation, thats the guests being selfish to other guests because our room was oppsite the pool and them same guests left their towels day and nite on the sunbeds for the duration of their stay, dont criticise the hotel approach the people who are doing it. We had a fab holiday at the finas and the resort at Pefkos is just bueatiful. Thanks again :))

As always an excellent stay at the Finas!
Yeah when you read the negative comments you might well ask yourself why, but they really are the exception rather than the rule. The hotel staff really go out of their way to help to make a fantastic holiday for everyone!
Thanks to all the staff for another excellent 2 weeks, and of course to Kelly our rep too.
Looking forward to seeing you all again soon :-)

Arrived home last week & I wanted to re-assure anyone going to the Finas. The hotel is great for people wanting a fantastic, value for money, holiday. The vews, & gardens are brilliant ( i can't believe that I have not read more positive reviews regarding the surrounding gardens). I can only speak for my room which was cleaned regularly & the quality of the bed linen & towels was excellent. Maybe if some people took time out from looking for grime & looked at the wonderful views, they may enjoy their holiday more! The hotel staff are friendly & go out of their way to be helpful. Kelly the rep is great also.  Don't let negative comments stop you from booking. Some people will moan about anything. Remember you are on holiday! So enjoy it & stop looking for thing to complain about!!

We spent a week in the Finas in August. We had two rooms. We have previously stayed in other hotels in Pefkos. The Finas was fair value for the money we paid. The rooms we had were small although the bathroom was quite large. The balcony was very large but also very hot. In general the accommodation was satisfactory, we only spent long periods in it when we were getting ready to go out or sleeping. No fans were allowed in the rooms and although the air con was less expensive than other hotels it still would have taken a fairly large chunk of our budget had we had it. There were two nights when it was so warm in the rooms that sleeping was difficult. The standard of the cleaning was as expected for a budget hotel, it would have been useful for the hotel to provide a brush and pan so that we could have enhanced the cleaning ourselves. If we go back I we will take some cleaning kit ourselves although we must stress that the accommodation was NOT dirty, just not 5*. The food in the hotel was ok for a snack if you didn't feel like walking into the village. The pool was great, and the pool bar even better. The atmosphere in the hotel was fun and very holiday. The location of the hotel was great, away from the village and quite but not too far out of it. The walk to and from the beach in Pefkos is always up and down hill and is either an eye opener as to how unfit 'one' is or a fitness bonus.... As everyone else seems to say the views are great and the gardens are beautiful. We saved £100 per person (£400 in total) by going to the Finas so we would certainly consider going back.
