Our opinion: A family-run hotel with a welcoming atmosphere conveniently located for the beach and the resort centre.
The family-run Thalia Hotel is in a peaceful area, set back from the main road into Pefkos village with the beach a 10-minute stroll away. It offers basic, traditional accommodation in studios which can sleep up to three adults. Air-conditioning is available for an extra charge, and each studio has an open plan kitchenette and a bathroom. On site is a large main pool and children's pool with a sunbathing terrace equipped with loungers and parasols. There is also a bar on site serving drinks and snacks throughout the day and a mini-market, ensuring you won't have far to go to get your holiday essentials. A good choice of restaurants and bars can be found in the resort centre, a five-minute walk away, but if you prefer to stay put, the Thalia runs an entertainment programme in high season including Karaoke and Greek nights with authentic Greek cuisine and dancing.
