Our opinion: A beautiful countryside setting makes Demetris ideal for those seeking comfortable accommodation away from the hustle and bustle.
An idyllic setting amid the pine forests of Skiathos enables the Demetris Studios to offer the perfect peaceful retreat. Accessed along a sloping track 10 minutes from the main road, it has a far-from-the-madding-crowd feel to it. With a mini-market and tavernas a few minute's walk away too, everything is in place for a thoroughly relaxing, restorative stay.
The resort has a good selection of family run tavernas and restaurants, offering excellent local as well as international dishes. The studios are simple but clean and comfortable and are situated in an elevated spot, some with stunning views. They share the use of a pretty swimming pool and sun terrace - the ideal spot to while away a sunny day. The lovely, sheltered bay of Kolios is a short walk away, conveniently positioned midway between Skiathos Town and Koukounaries for a change of scene.
