Our opinion: A family-run, welcoming property with a great atmosphere (especially on BBQ night) set in attractive gardens nestled in an olive grove.
Jimmy's Studios are less than a 10 minute walk away from the main road and there is a great selection of restaurants just a few minutes beyond, towards the beach of Platanias.
The studios are set in beautiful gardens and are spacious, airy and well maintained, ideal for lazy mornings and relaxing afternoons. The lovely pool area is surrounded by greenery and flowers, giving the feel of a tranquil oasis away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. The peaceful location is enhanced by the friendly owners who are always on hand creating a 'home from home' atmosphere.
The resort of Platanias and the neighbouring resort Aghia Paraskevi are peaceful, picturesque resorts with great beaches. Platanias is an ideal resort for those seeking relaxation and a long sandy beach with crystal clear waters. The nightlife of the resort is fairly relaxed with a great selection of tavernas and bars on offer. Platanias is a great base from which to explore Skiathos Town which is nearby, and the beaches of Koukounaries.
