The Irini Studios are situated in a quiet area on the hillside overlooking the picturesque harbour of Yialos, a lovely town made up of narrow cobbled streets and pastel coloured houses. A ten minute walk will take you to Yialos harbour with its wide variety of tavernas, bars, shops and restaurants. The sandy town beach is a 30 minute walk away and there are water taxis waiting to take you to other the beaches around the island. Yialos is a pretty town which becomes full of tourists and visitors from about 11am until 3pm, when the tourist boats arrive from mainland Greece and the island of Rhodes. You can sit for hours just people watching whilst enjoying a coffee at one of the waterfront cafes. In the late afternoon and into the evening, the harbour area becomes quiet again, allowing for romantic sunset strolls and leisurely evening meals. This accommodation is perfect for those seeking a taste of traditional Greece and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The Irini Apartments are Symian style houses and are reached by steep open stairs from the road (approximately 100 steps). Please note that luggage will be dropped off at the nearest possible point. Guests will be responsible for their own luggage after this. Due to number of steps this accommodation is not suitable for guests with walking difficulties.
