Our opinion: An attractive, traditional-style hotel equipped with every comfort for a gloriously relaxing break.The charming, traditionally built Taxiarchis apartments are a within walking distance of the lovely beaches in Pedi Bay, and 500 metres from the centre of iconic Symi Town. Here you will find shops and tavernas, and the ferry port to to Rhodes 2 kms away. The spacious, air-conditioned rooms on offer are well furnished for a comfy stay, with wifi, a sofa, television and kitchenette where you will find a fridge, kettle and cooking hob. Enjoy breakfast from the dining terrace from where the views between the mountains down to the bay where the Aegean sparkles are spectacular. All around is greenery and tropical flora. Within the hotel is a small library and a pretty courtyard with tables and chairs - a lovely space to sit and read with the sun dappling your skin. With its hilly location, this hotel is not recommended to those with walking difficulties.
Sevasti Symi Studios
Our opinion: The Sevasti Symi Studios offer great value for money in a lovely quiet and peaceful location.Sevasti Symi Studios offer guests a comfortable standard of accommodation, and a warm family welcome, located high up on the hill side over looking the village, with an amazing view of Pedi, Pedi valley, Chorio, Kastro and landscape and beyond. These pleasant studios are in a perfect location for those wanting to enjoy all that Symi has to offer. Restaurants and shops can be found approximately ten minutes away.
Anastasoulla Mouragio
Our opinion: Basic accommodation that is ideally close to all the facilities that Symi has to offer.Situated in a delightful location up 40 steps the Anastasoulla Mouragio provides basic accommodation that is ideally close to all of the facilities that Symi has to offer. It is a 5 minute walk to the town beach and just a few minute's walk will take you to the centre of Symi Harbour. Due to number of steps this accommodation is not suitable for guests with walking difficulties.
Irini Studios
Our opinion: These Symian style houses are situated in a quiet area on the hillside overlooking the picturesque harbour of Yialos.The Irini Studios are situated in a quiet area on the hillside overlooking the picturesque harbour of Yialos, a lovely town made up of narrow cobbled streets and pastel coloured houses. A ten minute walk will take you to Yialos harbour with its wide variety of tavernas, bars, shops and restaurants. The sandy town beach is a 30 minute walk away and there are water taxis waiting to take you to other the beaches around the island. Yialos is a pretty town which becomes full of tourists and visitors from about 11am until 3pm, when the tourist boats arrive from mainland Greece and the island of Rhodes. You can sit for hours just people watching whilst enjoying a coffee at one of the waterfront cafes. In the late afternoon and into the evening, the harbour area becomes quiet again, allowing for romantic sunset strolls and leisurely evening meals. This accommodation is perfect for those seeking a taste of traditional Greece and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The Irini Apartments are Symian style houses and are reached by steep open stairs from the road (approximately 100 steps). Please note that luggage will be dropped off at the nearest possible point. Guests will be responsible for their own luggage after this. Due to number of steps this accommodation is not suitable for guests with walking difficulties.

Our opinion: Modern apartments overlooking the Vale of Pedi. Simple but very clean and well maintained.These Symian village apartments overlook the Vale of Pedi. A few minutes walk will take you to the village of Chorio with its sprinkling of tavernas and bars. Pedi's shingle beach is a twenty minute walk away. The accommodation is very clean and well maintained with the friendly owners living next door. These apartments are perfect for anyone seeking a taste of traditional Greece and lots of rustic charm. Due to the number of steps this accommodation is not suitable for guests with walking difficulties.
Opera House Hotel
Our opinion: An idyllic hotel on the unspoilt island of Symi, perfect for a romantic getaway or a quiet family holiday.Set in a large wooded garden, this pleasant property is in separate blocks and situated in a quiet location up a gentle slope about two minutes walk from the main harbour front, tavernas and shops. With views of the old village, it has its own small outside bar serving basic snacks and breakfast.
Iapetos Village
Our opinion: A new, modern hotel with good facilities and friendly staff.The fantastic, newly built Iapetos Village comprises of 25 neoclassical traditional houses set in beautiful gardens. It is located in the centre of Symi Town and is just 200 metres from Symi Harbour.
