Getting Around on Galissas HolidaysFerry: Syros is connected daily with Piraeus (Athens airport) (4 hours with a ferry, 2 hours with a catamaran), Tinos, Mykonos, Paros, Naxos and Amorgos. Four times a week with Andros, Santorini, and Ios. Three times a week with Folegandros and Sikinos. Taxi: You will find many taxis in Ermoupoli at Miaoulis Square and at the dock. Bus: The buses of the public bus company (KTEL) serve all the areas near Ermoupoli (Ano Syros, Vrontado, Dili) and all the villages. Car: Car hire can be organised locally on the island.
