Our opinion: The Kalamaki is a great choice for a relaxing beach holiday in a peaceful spot not far from the resort centre.
The Kalamaki Beach Hotel is set in 2.5 acres of beautiful landscaped gardens with magnificent views over the lonian sea. It is located 100 metres from the lovely sandy beach just a km outside the centre of the resort. The complex consists of 43 attractive rooms decorated in neutral colours, each with a furnished balcony overlooking the sea. Breakfast is served each day in the morning room where tables are set on the veranda and the hotel also has its own taverna situated directly on the beach where local specialities and international dishes are served throughout the day. Between the hotel and the sea is the lovely swimming pool incorporating an area especially for children. Plenty of sun loungers surround it, and a pool bar serves snacks and refreshing drinks throughout the day, making relaxation the favourite pastime. After nights out in the resort, return to this haven of tranquility for a nightcap in the cocktail bar.
