All Inclusive Holidays FAQs

Why should I choose an all inclusive holiday?

There’s nothing better than jetting off on a relaxing holiday knowing that everything is already taken care of, and hotels offer so much more than just meals, snacks, and drinks, they also give you access to hotel amenities and activities, with some offering spa treatments, excursions, and off-resort dining. With the knowledge that you don’t even need to leave the hotel (although we highly recommend taking some time to discover the local area) it gives you a chance to truly relax.

What is included on an all inclusive holiday?

There are different levels of all inclusive holidays today, so please check the specific hotel for details. However, they usually include

  • Drinks, meals, and snacks
  • Use of hotel amenities and activities
  • Flights and hotel stay
  • Hand-picked accommodation with top class facilities
  • There may be additional excursions, activities, entertainment, and amenities offered

Is all inclusive worth it?

An all inclusive holiday takes away the stress of having to budget for meals and drinks, and is ideal for those who prefer to know everything is taken care of as soon as they arrive so that there are no surprise extras waiting for them throughout their holiday or when they check out. It is important however, to know what is and isn’t included as part of your package, for example, are premium spirits included? Do you have unlimited spa treatments? How frequently can you dine a la carte? Do you need to pay for sports equipment rental? etc. All information on inclusions can be found on the hotel page.

For many, this can create a truly stress-free, relaxing holiday which certainly makes all inclusive worth it, however, if you are planning on dining out most evenings or spending more time outside the resort on excursions rather than by the pool, then all inclusive may not be the right choice for you, and you may prefer to look into bed and breakfast, half board, or self catering accommodation.

Will I have to wear a wristband?

Sometimes, yes. This is dependent on the hotel.

Do I have to remain in the hotel for the entire duration of my holiday?

You can if you so please, but it is not compulsory, and we highly recommend exploring outside of your hotel to immerse yourself in the traditional, local lifestyle, and to discover all that your chosen destination has to offer. For example, as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Rhodes is awash with history, ancient temples, and castles, and in Zante you can discover a shipwreck! There’s always plenty more to see and do when you venture away from the hotel pool.

Is it just the same buffet/ food every day?

Far from it! Our hotels aim to provide their guests with a choice of dining options and wide range of cuisines, including fresh, local specialities alongside some more well known, universal offerings so every member of your group will be satisfied.

What is Dine Around or Dine Out?

Dine Around or Dine Out is only offered by specific hotel resorts and gives you the option to dine at specially selected restaurants in the local area and/or sister hotels as part of your all inclusive package. More information can be found on the resort pages.

Please note all-inclusive programmes vary between hotels, so please see each hotel’s description for exact details.
