With the freedom a car gives you, you can see much more of your chosen destination and discover that corner you might otherwise have missed. All cars can be pre-booked from Olympic at the time of booking your holiday, or right up to 7 days before your departure. We have negotiated special low rates from companies that have been operating for years so that we can be sure that your car will be reliable and of good quality.

Terms & Conditions for Turkey Car Hire

Car Hire Rates Include:

• Unlimited mileage
  
• CDW (Does not cover tyre, windscreen, headlights)
  
• Theft Waiver.
  
• Liability Insurance for Third Party - Insurance Policy for bodily injury, property damage.
  
• Delivery and collection charges during working hours of the station & city limits with a range of 30km from the next station (see below for extra charges)
  
• Additional Driver.
  
• All local taxes and VAT on items above.
  
• Airport surcharge.
  
  

Car Hire Rates DO NOT Include:

• Personal Accident Insurance (PAI), this is optional and costs on average EURO 6.00 (about £4.50) per day.
  
• Petrol - tank must be full for check out.
  
• Afterhours hotel deliveries costs EURO 12.00 (about £8.75) per way.
  
• Any fines incurred during your use of the car.
  
• Tyres, windscreen, headlights and oil pump insurance are not covered by CDW but can be insured locally upon request at approximately daily rate of EURO 8.00 (about £5.75).
  

• Non Waivable CDW amount. Costs EURO 250 for Groups B & C and EURO 350 for Groups D, E & F.
  
• Theft Waiver / Non Waivable amount.
  
• Full Damage Waiver (FDW) that covers you fully against each accident is charged at approx. EURO 6.90 daily (approximately £5.00)
  
• Baby seat (under 2 years old) and infant seats (2 to 5 years) are on request, payable locally at approximate cost of EURO 4.00 daily (approximately £3.00)
  
• Roof Racks are not available.
  
• Any local taxes and VAT on items above.
  
  

NB: Child seats will comply with local laws but may not conform to British standards.

The rates above apply only to cars pre-booked in the UK. Different rates may apply to cars hired in resort.

Conditions on Car Hire:
Drivers must have held a full licence for at least 2 years for all car groups. Minimum age of drivers is 21 years for car groups B & C and for all others this increases to 26 years.

Important Note:
Please check carefully the details of the insurance provided under your contract with the Car Hire company in resort. It is not unusual for "third party" cover to exclude cover for blood relatives and members of your immediate family or members of the same home address who travel with you in the vehicle. Top up policies will normally be available to purchase directly from the Car Hire Company in resort. For peace of mind, we strongly recommend that you take out additional cover in respect of your spouse and any children or close relatives who will be accompanying you in the vehicle.

Collision Damage Waiver / Loss Damage Waiver:
These sections of our insurance policy cover you for damage sustained in an accident unless you deliberately cause the damage, are under the influence of drink or drugs, or use the vehicle in a prohibited way (e.g. for hire).
In addition if you commit a driving offence or drive negligently, or the local suppliers of the car decide that you are at fault, you may not receive a replacement vehicle.

Theft Waiver :
Reduces the renter's liability in the event of theft or damages caused due to theft or attempted theft of the vehicle to an excess amount where applicable.

Negligence connected with the theft of the vehicle may lead to the car hire company requiring the full amount for the cost of vehicle.

Provision of Cars:
Car suppliers can refuse a vehicle to anyone considered unfit or ineligible to drive. In these circumstances we will not be responsible for the completion of your travel arrangements, for any refund, compensation or any other costs you may have to pay.

We are brokers for the car hire companies. Clients are subject to the car hire company`s own terms and conditions and the laws of the country where the rental takes place. Olympic Holidays accepts no responsibility for loss, damage, alterations, delays or changes caused by civil strife, industrial dispute, including air traffic control disputes, terrorist activity, natural and nuclear disaster, fire or adverse weather conditions unavoidable technical problems with transport, closure or congestion of airports or ports, cancellation of scheduled airlines or the financial failure of airlines.
