Cairo & Cruise On the River Nile |

After arriving in Port Said guests will be driven through the cultivated desert of Cairo, home to 18 million people and the largest city in Africa. First stop is the Giza Plateau and the only remaining Wonder of the Ancient World, the Great Pyramids of Giza.

We continue down the valley to visit the guardian of
this mortuary complex, the mighty Sphinx. Watching
the passage of time and men in centuries of silence,
its enigmatic expression is a mystery yet to be unrivalled. |

Next stop is the Papyrus Institute where the banks of the River Nile where a luxurious cruise boat awaits to sail down the same timeless waterway traversed by the Pharaohs, Queens and Nobles thousands of years ago. Sit back, relax and enjoy the sumptuous buffet lunch in elaborate interiors as we glide past Cairo's waterfront landmarks. |

For entertainment, a folkloric presentation and belly dancing will be performed during lunch. Final stop is at Tahrir (liberty) Square - the heart of downtown Cairo where you will visit the National Archaeological Museum acquainting yourselves with Egypt's rich history spanning over 50 centuries. The museum is home to the worlds largest and richest collections of Egyptian antiquities, including the priceless collection of King Tutankhamen. |

Jerusalem and Bethlehem |
|
|
During this deeply religious and historic tour we travel to Bethlehem, the birthplace of Jesus, where we visit the Church of the Nativity and the Grotto, built over Jesus’ birthplace. After lunch in a local restaurant in Bethlehem, we drive to the Holy City of Jerusalem. Entering through Jaffa Gate, we begin a walking tour of the old city. |

We visit the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and Golgotha, where daily prayers are chanted by many Christian denominations over the place where Jesus was crucified and buried. Our tour continues through the exotic oriental bazaar to the Wailing Wall. On the way we stop to admire views of the Temple Mount and the Dome of the Rock and Al Aksa Mosques. |

We then proceed past the Mount of Olives for a panoramic view of the Garden of Gethsemane and the beautiful Church of All Nations and drive through modern Jerusalem where we can enjoy views of the Knesset (Israeli Parliament), the Museum of Israel and the Shrine of the Book, where the Dead Sea Scrolls are |

housed. Our tour ends with a visit to the exhibition halls of the famous diamond centre “Caprice” where we can admire a vast selection of diamonds and other jewellery. |

• must have a full 10 year passport with at least 6 months to run following the date of return to the UK.
• On the Egyptian shore excursions, children aged over 12 must have their own passport or their own
• photograph in their parent's passport duly stamped by the passport office.
• The currency used aboard ship is Euros and other currencies may be exchanged on
• board during the ship's bank opening hours.
• Gratuities are at your discretion on board ship.
• All transfers from resort to ship and return are included in the price quoted in the price panel except
• Mountains and Latchi/Polis resorts.(Rates available from your Representative).
