As its name suggests, the Benidorm Centre Hotel is in the heart of the town, just a stone's throw from the clubs, bars, restaurants and shops, yet still only 250 metres to the expansive and popular Levante beach where a wide range of sports and activities take place. It's a striking hotel, positioned between the old and the new quarters of the town, a modern looking, multi-storey block with a slightly eccentric neo-classical style in the lobby area; the eye is taken upwards by a sweeping granite staircase with black and gold balustrading, several potted ferns and an alabaster figure. Nearby, in the coffee shop and restaurant - where each day starts with a delicious buffet breakfast - you are met with comfy looking chairs and a light and airy atmosphere.
A feature of the hotel is its large, inviting pool, served by a pool bar and a roomy terrace with plenty of seating and sun loungers. So a day or two spent simply soaking in the sun while you unwind is a distinct possibility. Children won't object to the idea, with their own pool and a playground nearby. The hotel has its own hair salon too, to help restore your crowning glory ready for dinner and the evening's programme of entertainment.
