You can't miss the Don Pancho. With its 18 floors of sea-facing rooms, this hotel is earning itself a reputation for first rate service, spotless accommodation and an enviable location. On Avenida del Mediterraneo, which runs parallel with the coast, you will find yourself just 100 metres from one of the most popular beaches, the Levante, giving you a distinct advantage in making an early start and bagging one of the best spots on the sands.
On arrival at the hotel, leave the busy town behind a moment as you enter a lobby of cool and impressive proportions with seductively large sofas to rest awhile before you head for your equally comfortable, spacious, traditionally furnished rooms. Once you've settled in, you may choose to spend time by the swimming pools; there is a rectangle of cooling aquamarine outdoors, and another adjacent under a glass cover. Outside are sun loungers and parasols for sunbathing when you just don't feel like wandering too far.
Once your energy is on the rise again, there is no shortage of things to see and do. For family fun, there are several fun parks in easy distance; Benidorm's old town is a great place to browse or sample traditional tapas bars and, of course, you can't ignore the vibrant night spots if you're out and about.
