Our opinion: A great beachside hotel with fabulous pools and sun terraces.
Hotel Sol Don Pablo is a great choice for a Spanish beach holiday with its great range of facilities and location just 50 metres from the sandy beach. The area attracts holidaymakers for its reliable sun, clean beaches and endless list of things to do. At the heart of the resort you will find numerous restaurants, bars and a throbbing nightlife. The long beachside promenade throngs with people, particularly in the cool of the evening, when it lives up to its name as the place to go for a leisurely stroll.
With great views of the coast, the Sol Don Pablo boasts an incredible nine swimming pools of different sizes layered throughout the extensive gardens, creating an inviting landscape for sunbathing. Bag yourself a beautiful spot on one of the terraces among the palms and exotic greenery and, with a good book, plenty of suncream, and refreshments from the bar, you may still be there at sundown. Some gentle activity is provided in the form of the bowling green, or to be a little more energetic, the table tennis table.
If you do like to be kept busy, though, there is a programme of leisure activities throughout the day. There's a Kid's Club to keep younger members of the family entertained while you wander off to the spa to for a massage or beauty treatments, emerging preened for the evening's entertainment and dinner in one of the hotel's restaurants. Enjoy watching he chefs at work in the Italian corner, or cooking up dishes to fit in with the theme of the night. A cocktail under the stars rounds the day of nicely.
