Our opinion: Hotel Cavalieri is ideal for couples and families looking for a comfortable seafront accommodation with excellent onsite facilities, close to the resort centre.
The Cavalieri Hotel is designed with stylish, large, light, open spaces, comfortable furnishings and an attractive decor. It is situated in a unique and quiet location on the fringes of the most sought after tourist area in Malta - St Julians. Whilst directly on the water's edge overlooking picturesque Balluta Bay and the Mediterranean Sea beyond, the hotel is also located on the doorstep of the Portomaso Yacht Marina, 300 metres to the Paceville nightlife area, 400 metres to the closest casino and 200 metres to Spinola Bay - the heart of St Julians.
The Hotel has its own private lido with a large outdoor swimming pool as well as a large sun deck with sun beds, parasols, changing rooms, showers and a children's paddling pool. Guests can make use of the indoor swimming pool which is enclosed within a solarium and is heated between (Nov-Apr). A sauna is also available. Other services such as early morning calls and foreign exchange are also available. The lobby area also includes a souvenir shop selling a variety of gifts, popular European newspapers and local road maps, a fitness room which is accessible throughout the day, and meeting areas offering comfortable seating within a relaxed environment. The Lobby is also covered by a complimentary WiFi service allowing guests to access the internet from any seating point within this area. For guests who did not bring their own computers, the hotel also offers an internet corner where free terminals are available. The Lobby also leads out into beautiful terraces overlooking the bay.
The Cavalieri Hotel is within walking distance of all the popular attractions in this well established resort area. The seafront and beautiful promenade, with its many bars, restaurants and shops as well as the main bus routes to Valletta, Sliema and to the Gozo ferry terminal are all close by.
