Getting Around on Montenegro HolidaysTrain: Travelling by train during your Montenegro holidays is the cheapest was to travel from north to south. However the quality of service is not as high as more developed countries. Bus: Possibly the easiest way of getting around during your Montenegro holidays. The buses are frequent during the summer months and relatively reliable. Ticket prices are very reasonable but please bear in mind local buses do not have air conditioning and smoking is quite common. Car: Hiring a car whilst taking Montenegro holidays is an interesting experience because there are no real motorways and all roads are 2 lanes and not up to British standards. Most roads are quite curvy and bend round the mountains and the speed limit is 70km/h and 80km/h on the open roads. It is necessary to have your headlights on whilst driving, even during the day!!!
