    Ovacik is located in the Fethiye region of South West Turkey, just 2 miles from Olu Deniz and 50 miles south of Dalaman airport. The resort of Ovacik is nestled among pine trees on high ground above the bay and Oludeniz. The nearest beach is at Oludeniz and offers pale sand and deep blue sea.

    Ovacik is a pretty, small and compact holiday resort with the nearby town of Hisaronu with its main, partially pedestrianised, street the focus of evening activity. It offers good shops, restaurants and bars along, and in the side streets off, the main street.

    Ovacik has a laid back but lively atmosphere with a strong British flavour. There is also a weekly market full of local bargains. The village of Ovacik merges with Hisaronu.
