Hotel Serhan sits beautifully amongst lush green gardens in the centre of Gumbet , a resort which has prospered, originally as the overflow from Bodrum only 2km away but now as a resort entirely on its own merit. Nearby the resort centre of Gumbet offers a wide array of fine eateries, good shopping and plenty of nightly entertainment to suit all budgets and tastes. The hotel offers guests a great base to explore the surrounding countryside taking in the rich tapestry of history and culture Turkey enjoys, and the best position to reach either the beaches of Bodrum or Gumbet. With all this on offer it is hard to imagine a Hotel which ticks any more boxes than the Majestic.
Local tips: for a great day out visit the ancient Castle of St Peter built in 1402 guarded for centuries by Knights from around the Christian world and turned into the current Museum of Underwater Archaeology in the 1960's.
