Credit Controller

Accountable to: Finance Manager

Location: Head Office, 1 Torrington Park, North Finchley, London N12 9TB 

Job Purpose

Credit Controller will be responsible for chasing outstanding invoices to the company and will play a vital role in the cash-flow of the organisation ensuring credit given to customers is monitored and controlled effectively.Maintaining close relationship with clients.

Duties and Responsibilities - 

  • Responsibility of chasing clients for payments by calling, sending letters/emails
  • Day to day banking – allocating payments in accordance with customer remittances
  • Responsible for maintaining client accounts with accurate notes and actions
  • Daily/Weekly statement preparation
  • Prepare aged debt reports
  • Weekly ledger update to manager
  • To effectively deal with and resolve promptly any queries that arise
  • Highlight problems and issues when they occur for timely resolution
  • Manage a range of finance related queries, both internal and external

Hours of Work

  • 37.5 hour per week
  • (Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm, Saturdays 9am to 5pm).
  • 1 Saturday every 3 weeks required for this position during the peak season (time off in lieu as appropriate)

Pay & Benefits

  • Salary TBD.

The job responsibilities may, from time to time, be reviewed and amended in line with changing business requirements. The individual may also be required to assist other departments where the roles are suitable in line with an individual’s knowledge and skill set.
