Job Purpose:       

You will work across a variety of marketing channels delivering the companies digital marketing strategies to build a lasting digital connection with customers

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage email marketing data for distribution of personalised and segmented, direct and trade email activity
  • Creating & dispatching weekly newsletters to clients, prospective clients, travel agents.
  • Where necessary the production of content, copywriting for blogs and website landing pages and social media
  • Work with the Digital Marketing Executive, Content & Copywriting to plan, grow and run the social media channels
  • Website updating and optimisation, generate backlinks from 3rd parties to the website
  • Assist with paid social media and liaison with agencies to make changes and amendments to ensure the best optimisation for paid social and ppc campaigns as appropriate
  • Manage the analytics from campaigns to report on the effectiveness of each campaign monthly and ongoing basis to further enhance activity
  • Monitor web activity monthly, utilising key metrics and report within team meetings
  • Work across the business to ensure all literature is up-to-date and compliant with brand guidelines
  • Monitor and report on competitor activity and suggest improvements to marketing activity
  • Assist in project-based work alongside the Marketing Team which may not always be digital marketing, could include partnership activity, brochures, direct mail, native articles…

Core Competencies

  • Creativity and imagination
  • Thorough understanding, recent experience or certification in SEO, PPC and Paid Social Media
  • Experience of using digital marketing tools such as Google Adwords, SEMRush, theHoth, Ahrefs, Page speed insights, Search Console and Google Trends
  • Experience of link-building
  • Thorough understanding and recent use of Google Analytics
  • Analytical mindset and critical thinking
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to express a message clearly and persuasively both verbal and written
  • Ability to influence, inspire and lead to achieve objectives
  • Ability to work flexible working hours
  • Consistently delivers against targets

Hours of Work

37.5 hour week, but flexibility to work evenings, weekends and Bank holidays required (time off in lieu as appropriate)
