Boa Vista is positioned on the east side of the islands, named ‘the island of dunes’ because of the many dunes shaped by the winds, recalling the Sahara. The island is enclosed by sandy beaches and famous for adorable sea turtles and traditional music.

If you have a passion for birds, the island of Currel Velho is easily accessible by boat, offering a variety of bird species such as the albatross, frigate and many other tropical birds.

For those who adore a souvenir, head to Sal Rai where you will find all sorts of goods, such as wood carvings, sold by African traders.
