Tochni is a typical Cypriot village, with a close friendly community. It has an excellent location being 5 minutes drive from "Governor's Beach", 5 minutes from Zygi fishing Village, 20 minutes from Limassol and Larnaca and 40 minutes from Nicosia. During your stay at a traditional village house you will have the opportunity to experience the authentic traditional life of a Cypriot village, as well as the genuine hospitality of local people.
Built on the slopes of two hills, the village is famous for its old narrow streets and the church of Constantinos and Eleni. In the village square there is a supermarket, a bank and coffee shops set beside old stone houses in a peaceful, rural location.
The village of Kalavasos, south-west of the city of Larnaca, is built upon the west bank of the Vasilikos river. This delightful village retains its traditional Cypriot charm and ambience, while enticing tourists through it various facilities and attractions. The focus of this friendly community is centred round the village square, with its traditional coffee shops, beautiful church and stone houses. Active visitors spend their days horse riding at the local stables, cycling along the authentic disused rail tracks or visiting the archaeological settlement sites dating back to 7000 BC. Kalavasos is just ten minutes from many beautiful beaches with an opportunity for sailing, snorkeling and strolling along coastal nature trails. In the surrounding villages of Zygi and Tochni you can find traditional shops selling local lace and handmade silver ornaments and some of the best traditional fish restaurants and tavernas on the island are also found here.
Omodhos Village is situated in the hills below Platres in the Troodos Mountain region and is the centre of the winemaking area of Cyprus. Its large village square is surrounded by whitewashed stone houses and several tavernas and cafes, providing both a welcome sight on arrival and an ideal place to gather and meet with the local people. The village itself has retained its original architectural character and the narrow streets are spotless and very picturesque. There are many other chapels built in and around the village, all with their own unique history, as well as two museums containing ancient and unique exhibits.
