Your questions answered

What are the rules for entering the UK

You must complete a passenger locator form online before you arrive in the UK. It’s free to submit the form. You can submit the form any time in the 48 hours before you arrive in the UK. You’ll need to show your form when you check in to travel or board your plane to the UK.

Please refer to UK Government Foreign Travel Advice website for further updates. We recommend that you sign up for the FCDO travel advice email alert, so you automatically receive the latest travel alert for the destination you are travelling to.  You must have adequate travel insurance in place for your holiday.

Please ensure you take an adequate supply of face masks or other acceptable face covering as you will be asked to wear these throughout your journey. That means in the airport, on your flights, on your transfers and possibly on holiday too. You may be asked to have your temperature taken or undergo other checks at the airport.

Can I change or cancel my holiday?

Can I cancel my holiday?

If you are travelling within the next 7 days, under the following circumstances you can cancel your holiday free of charge. You will receive a credit note to be used on a future holiday and this will also include details on how to claim a full refund;

  • If the FCDO advises against all non-essential travel to your holiday destination
  • If there is a local or UK-wide national lockdown which includes a requirement not to travel overseas
  • If your destination imposes a quarantine to all arriving passengers
  • If the destination you are returning from is on the ‘red list’ and you are required to quarantine in a hotel.

In all other circumstances, normal cancellation terms and conditions will apply.

Can I change my holiday?

We will always try to help you change your holiday arrangements. Any fees/fare differences charged by the relevant airline will need to be paid.

If you choose to amend your holiday and wish to depart on another date, provided there are flights available for your choice with the same airline you are currently booked with, we will do everything we can to help you. You will need to pay any difference in cost as well as any airline charges based on the airline’s policy at the time. In all other circumstances, normal terms and conditions will apply to amend your holiday.

Please advise us at least 35 days before your departure date if you wish to change your holiday.

To amend your booking, please contact our Customer Services department by sending an email to customer.services@olympicholidays.com quoting your booking reference and new desired holiday date.

Please also check the entry requirements for your chosen destination (links at the top of this page) as failure to comply with the country’s regulations may lead to you being denied entry. We advise to always check the latest advice posted on the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) website as this will cover any short-notice changes and immediate updates on various destinations.
