Cyprus is the perfect summer holiday destination but the weather is so kind to Cyprus that many places stay open all year round.  Choose one of our multi-destination holidays to get the most out of a special island that has so much to see and do – whenever you visit.

Ayia Napa

This resort has a reputation for being the place to party, but it boasts some of the finest beaches on Cyprus and an award-winning waterpark.  Bars and clubs in the town stay open all night and the music goes on all day on the powder-white sands of crowded Nissi beach where you can wade through the crystal clear water to an offshore islet.

There are other, quieter, more family-friendly beaches nearby, such as Makronissos, Kernia and Konnos, where the sand is said to be perfect for sandcastles.  The 20 or more rides at Waterworld in Ayia Napa are all on the theme of Greek gods and myths, such as Aphrodite’s Bath and Poseidon’s pool. It’s won a big splash of international awards. Take a boat trip, jeep safari (or drive yourself) to the stunning Ayia Napa sea caves, an area of rock arches, tunnels and partly submerged caves at the start of a beautiful national park.

Kalopanayiotis is a welcoming, and traditional village that cascades down the mountainside, inviting guests to experience a tangible past now revived in a proud, Cypriot community. One of the most beautiful villages in Cyprus, with springs, traditional buildings and panoramic views across the valley. Its peaceful and natural location have made it an ideal location for agro tourism.

Want to combine other resorts in Cyprus?

Sure! Cyprus is a island that's 400 miles long so here are some of the other resort you can stay and explore.

This legendary birthplace of love goddess Aphrodite is a marvellous combination of great beaches, lovely places to eat and ancient ruins to explore.  There’s a charming harbour beside an impressive castle where you can watch the world go by from one of many tavernas. Paphos has six Blue Flag beaches and the name of one, Coral Beach, helps describe how beautiful they are. Once the capital town of Cyprus, Paphos is a relaxing place for a family holiday and perfectly positioned to explore the scenic south-west side of the island.

Take a leisurely stroll along a two-mile prom beside Larnaca’s town beach. It’s lined with swaying palm trees, restaurants, bars, cafes and hotels and has a 17th century fort and the atmospheric lanes of the old Turkish quarter at one end.  There’s lots to do and see in this big and busy town, one of the oldest cities in the world that dates back thousands of years. The numerous beaches around long Larnaca Bay are mostly soft, golden sand. The sea is warm and fairly shallow, just right for families, and sunbeds, sunshades and water sports are widely available.

Lively Limassol is a modern resort with a history that stretches back 5,000 years.  The long, wide beach is separated from the town by a smart promenade. Narrow shopping streets and an atmospheric market square spread out from a revitalized fishing port, a modern marina and a thousand-year old castle.  Boutiques, traditional workshops, designer stores, restaurants, cafes, bars and clubs vie for attention. Cyprus is still a great place for romance and marriages and Limassol, the second largest city on Cyprus, has a reputation for ensuring visitors have lots of fun. But if you want something a bit more laid back you don’t have to go far out of town to find quieter beaches and villages.

This picturesque village of stone houses, narrow, paved alleyways and colourful gardens is at the heart of the island’s wine-making industry, a business that has gone on for centuries. A museum holds a medieval winepress found close to a 17th century monastery beside the village’s striking cobblestoned plaza. Numerous wineries operate in Omodos and neighbouring villages where workshops produce tasty desserts and beautiful lace and embroideries. There are plenty of restaurants and tavernas, too, where the local wine can be sampled!
