A desirable location with a strong, authentic feel for those looking for a relaxing holiday in unspoilt Crete surroundings.
The village of Galatas is a small hill village that overlooks the beach of Kalamaki. It was thought Galatas was 'discovered' by Cretans who wanted to escape living in the city of Chania Town; creating a tranquil, suburban haven. There is a strong, authentic feel to the village that makes it an ideal desirable location to all those looking for a relaxing holiday in traditionally unspoilt surroundings. There are also many cafés, bars and restaurants, as well as picturesque views over nearby villages.
Galatas is a wonderful resort that is ideal for those wanting a flavour of local culture as well as relaxation and stunning views.
