Three kilometres west of Lefkada Town, The Agios Ioannis Antzoussis church is the oldest on the island. Built by the Franks on the top of a rock on the site where an older church used to stand, legend has it that the Apostle Paul stopped here on his way to Rome, to spread Christianity.
