Travelling with Olympic Holidays in 2021
Everything you need to know before you go

Last updated: 03 March 2021

At Olympic Holidays, travelling in confidence is a promise we provide to each and every one of our customers and will always strive to assist you with any queries or concerns you may have. While there have been changes in regard to travelling in and out of the destinations we offer, our COVID-19 policy will ensure that you’re given the ultimate peace of mind in an unprecedented situation where your holiday may be affected.

The information below may cover any questions you have regarding your holiday, including entry requirements for your chosen destination as failure to comply with the country’s regulations may lead to you being denied entry. We advise to always check the latest advice posted on the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) website as this will cover any short-notice changes and immediate updates on various destinations.

In line with the UK Government latest lockdown announcement,  in the first instance, Olympic Holidays will cancel all holidays departing from England up to and including the 30 April 2021. Additionally, if  your holiday is booked to fly with Jet2 or TUI, any holiday departing up to and including the 16 May 2021 will also be cancelled.

If you are travelling with any other airline and your booking is affected by the latest announcement, we will be in contact with you to help you re-arrange your holiday.

Can I cancel my holiday?

If you are travelling within the next 14 days, under the following circumstances you can cancel your holiday free of charge. You will receive a credit note to be used on a future holiday and this will also include details on how to claim a full refund;

  • If the FCDO advises against all non-essential travel to your holiday destination
  • If there is a local or UK-wide national lockdown which includes a requirement not to travel overseas
  • If your destination imposes a quarantine upon arrival

In all other circumstances, normal cancellation terms and conditions will apply.

Can I change my holiday?

We will always try to help you change your holiday arrangements.

If you are departing up to and including 30 June 2021, you will not incur any administration fees from Olympic Holidays although any fees/fare differences charged by the relevant airline will need to be paid.

We are in constant communication with all participating airlines and are up to date with their individual guidelines regarding flexible flying.

If you choose to amend your holiday and wish to depart on another date, provided there are flights available for your choice with the same airline you are currently booked with, we will do our best to assist you. You will be liable for any difference in cost as well as any airline charges based on the airlines policy at the time.

In all other circumstances, normal terms and conditions will apply to amend your holiday.

To amend your booking, please contact our Customer Services department by sending an email to customer.services@olympicholidays.com quoting your booking reference and new desired holiday date.
