This upbeat resort sits at the eastern end of a long stretch of sandy beach, along which sit the neighbouring resorts of Playa de Palma and Can Pastilla. The three resorts are linked by a long promenade along the coast, and almost blend into one, so you can easily walk between them. The walk is a pleasant one without any hills, so is fine for pushchairs, wheelchairs etc, and also an easy route for cycling along - you can hire bicycles from several places in the resorts. 

El Arenal has plenty of facilities along it's stretch of this fabulous sandy beach, which has Blue Flag status. There are plenty of watersports and pedalo hire, sunbeds and parasols, plus beach huts (Balnearios) dotted along at regular intervals providing drinks and snacks, showers and toilet facilities. There's also a wealth of cocktail bars, restaurants and cafes along the beachfront promenade.
