Things To See

Wetlands: A conservation site boasting plenty of rare bird throughout the season and its own pelicans breading programme, water buffaloes and eels.

Necromanteion: The entrance to Hades where the ancient Greeks went to speak to the dead.

Acheron River: Beautiful water that is sourced from the mountains. The spectacular scenery is perfect walking territory and is now protected by the local authorities.

Zolongo: Statue of the woman of Souli who sacrificed themselves by jumping off the mountain to escape capture by the troops of Ali Pasha.
