Paphos Region - The bus service in Paphos is operated by the Pafos Transport Organisation (OSYPA)
Limassol Region - The bus service in Limassol is operated mainly by EMEL (Limassol Passenger Transport Company)
Larnaca - The bus service in Larnaca is operated mainly through the Cyprus Public Transport network (CPT)
Ayia Napa and Protaras - The bus service in Ayia Napa and Protaras is operated mainly by OSEA (Famagusta District Transport Organisation)
Intercity Buses
Intercity buses in Cyprus (often called Green Buses) are the main public transport system connecting the island’s major cities. They are run by Intercity Buses Ltd and provide affordable, fairly frequent travel between all key urban areas like Nicosia, Limassol, Larnaca, Paphos, and the east coast resorts such as Ayia Napa and Protaras.
Taxis
They are widely available across the island and convenient for short trips or airport transfers, they can be more expensive for longer distances.
Walking / Hiking
Walking in local areas of Cyprus is one of the best ways to experience everyday Cypriot life, especially in towns, villages, and coastal promenades where distances are short and the atmosphere is relaxed. Cycling in Cyprus is a growing activity thanks to its mix of coastal roads, mountain climbs, and quiet rural villages. The island is especially good for road cycling and e-biking, with scenic routes that range from flat seaside rides to challenging climbs in the Troodos Mountains.
