Kontaratos Dimitris, Executive Chef

An excellent restaurant is only a reflection of its executive chef and that couldn’t be truer when it comes to Kontaratos Dimitris. Born and raised on Rhodes, Dimitris began his career as a food technologist before graduating from Culinary Art College and working in Germany at the well-known Kofler & Kompanie – Event Catering. He then went on to work in the two Michelin-starred NOMA Kitchen Lab in Copenhagen with renowned chef, René Redzepi.

It became evident that the traditional, local cuisine of Dimitris’ birthplace was significant for him to bring into the Lindos Blu kitchens. Experimenting with a sustainable way of cooking and creating an environment of exemplary teamwork, the menu at Five Senses Restaurant explores the concept of “sophisticated gastronomy” across a menu of immersive taste surprises. Let Dimitrs and his team take you on a journey to rediscover one of the world’s most delectable cuisines…
