The Sail In Greece Kos Cruise combines island exploration, beautiful beaches and laid-back days at sea aboard a traditional Greek gulet. Starting and finishing in Kos, this seven night sailing adventure takes you through some of the lesser known treasures of the North Dodecanese, offering a wonderful mix of history, authentic Greek island life and crystal clear waters.
Spend your days sailing between islands, stopping in secluded bays for swimming and relaxing on deck before heading ashore to explore charming villages, historic sights and waterfront tavernas. With breakfast and lunch served onboard, comfortable ensuite cabins and an experienced crew throughout the journey, this is an incredible way to experience a different side of Greece.
The cruise operates Saturday to Saturday, with embarkation at Kos Marina from 17:00 and disembarkation the following Saturday at approximately 09:00.

Day 1: Saturday - Kos
Arrive in Kos and make your way to Kos Marina, where boarding begins at 17:00. Settle into your cabin, meet the crew and your fellow travellers and enjoy a welcome drink as your Greek island adventure begins.With the gulet staying overnight in Kos, the evening is yours to discover Kos Town. Stroll around the lively harbour, explore the old town or enjoy your first evening of Greek food and island atmosphere before returning to the boat. Optional Activity: Kos Walking Tour.
Day 2: Sunday - Pserimos & Kalymnos
After breakfast, set sail for the tiny island of Pserimos and enjoy your first swimming stop in the clear blue waters of the Dodecanese. Continue to Kalymnos, an island famous for its traditional sponge diving heritage and spectacular limestone scenery. Spend the afternoon exploring the waterfront and the colourful island town before enjoying an evening ashore.The gulet stays overnight in Kalymnos harbour. Optional Activity: Sponge Factory Visit.
Day 3: Monday - Leros
Leave Kalymnos after breakfast and sail towards Leros, enjoying another relaxing day of cruising and swimming along the way.Leros offers an interesting blend of traditional Greek character and distinctive Italian-influenced architecture. Explore Lakki harbour, visit the picturesque Panteli area or make your way towards the island's hilltop castle for beautiful views.Spend the evening enjoying the waterfront restaurants and relaxed island atmosphere before an overnight stay in Leros. Optional Activity: Leros Castle & Historical Tour.
Day 4: Tuesday - Lipsi
Sail onwards to peaceful Lipsi, a small Dodecanese island known for its turquoise bays and wonderfully relaxed pace of life.Enjoy a swimming stop around Platis Gialos before lunch onboard, followed by time ashore to explore the village, wander along the harbour or simply relax on one of the island's beautiful beaches.In the evening, sample local food and freshly caught seafood before spending the night in Lipsi harbour. Optional Activity: Local Wine & Bakery Tasting.
Day 5: Wednesday - Patmos
Today the cruise continues to Patmos, one of the most historic and culturally significant islands in the Dodecanese.After a swim stop and lunch onboard, head ashore to discover the beautiful hilltop settlement of Chora. Patmos is famous for the Monastery of Saint John the Theologian and the Cave of the Apocalypse, which form part of the island's UNESCO World Heritage heritage. Finish your day with dinner overlooking the harbour before spending the night onboard in Patmos. Optional Activity: Cave of the Apocalypse Tour.
Day 6: Thursday - Levitha
Leave Patmos behind and sail towards remote Levitha for one of the most peaceful days of the journey. This secluded island offers a complete escape from the busier Greek resorts, with beautiful clear water and untouched surroundings. Spend the afternoon swimming, relaxing onboard and soaking up the tranquillity of the Aegean. In the evening, there is the opportunity to visit the island's family-run taverna for a wonderfully authentic Greek experience before an overnight stay in Levitha Bay. Day 7: Friday - Kalymnos Bay & Kos
Begin the scenic journey south towards Kos, stopping along the way in a secluded bay near Kalymnos for one final swim in the beautiful Aegean waters. Enjoy lunch onboard and relax on deck before arriving back at Kos Marina during the late afternoon. Spend your final evening exploring Kos Town, picking up any last-minute souvenirs and enjoying the island's restaurants and nightlife before celebrating the end of your sailing adventure. Day 8: Saturday - Departure Day
Enjoy a final Mediterranean breakfast onboard before saying goodbye to the crew and your fellow travellers.Disembarkation takes place at Kos Marina at approximately 09:00, bringing your North Dodecanese sailing adventure to an end. Optional Activity: Airport Transfer Shuttle.

Accommodation
Standard cabins sleeps up to 3 persons featuring a comfortable double bed, fully equipped bathroom with shower, toilet, toiletries, reading light, wardrobe/storage space, electric fan, hairdryer and air conditioning (subject to limitations of power supply from the ports) and free WiFi (subject to limitations of power supply connected to the ports). Cabin configurations vary and include lower beds and bunk beds, with a limited number of triple and quad cabins available depending on your chosen cruise package and availability.
Standard Plus cabins are available on selected gulets and feature an ensuite bathroom with a separate shower enclosure. These cabins are subject to availability.
Cuisine
The cruise operates on a half board basis, with daily breakfast and lunch served onboard.
Enjoy relaxed meals while sailing through the Dodecanese, alongside a welcome experience at the beginning of the cruise and a special Captain's dinner during your journey.
Evenings provide the perfect opportunity to head ashore and discover local tavernas, waterfront restaurants and authentic Greek island cuisine.
