Rhodes has been blessed with many fantastic beaches. These are just afew of our favourites.

IXIA

A popular destination for windsurfing enthusiasts. It has a long stretch ofshingle beach with big breakers.

KALITHEA

Crystal clear waters make this the ideal spot for scuba diving, snorkellingand swimming. Explore the marine life around the rocky coves in the

picturesque area.

FALIRAKI

A wide expanse of golden sand with numerous watersports. Leading

down to the only nudist beach on the island, the Mandomata beach is

also very quiet and more scenic than the main beach.

LADIKO (Anthony Quinn Bay)

Very secluded and beautiful, Anthony Quinn once visited the spot, fell inlove with it and claimed it for his own, but the secret did not last long.

TRAGANOU

This is the beginning of Afandou Beach. Very clean and pebbled with acouple of shallow caves to explore. A taverna on the beach providesrefreshment making it an ideal spot.

TSAMBIKA

Overlooked by the historic monastery perched on top of the hill, this

secluded stretch of golden sand has to be seen to be believed.

AGATHI

This unspoiled stretch of fine sand is a favourite of the locals; so, it

must be good! There are two tavernas along the beach. This is really

getting away from it all.

The view from the road will be enough to entice you. Just before you

turn the corner for Lindos you will see the large bay with the bluest,

clearest water imaginable. A shingle beach excellent for swimming.

LINDOS

Two very popular beaches with a beautiful view of the village and the

Acropolis above. A quieter spot on the other side of the village is St

Paul’s Bay.

NAVARONE BAY

Mainly known for being the spot where ‘Guns of Navarone’ was filmed, the stunning shade of blue water you will find here is probably one of

the best on the island.

GLYSTRA

An ideal place for sun worshippers. The sandy beach with clear waters,a perfect spot for families.

PRASONISI

The most southernly point of the island, Prasonisi is well known for

joining of the Mediterranean Sea and the Aegean Sea. Popular with

wind surfing on one side of the beach and relaxing on the other.
