Olympic Holidays has organised an excursion programme to enhance your overall holiday enjoyment. In the summer heat you will be glad to know that all our coaches are fully air conditioned and tours are accompanied by an English speaking guide. Also, all the excursions in our programme are fully insured.

Zakynthos Highlights Island Tour - Adult €49/Child €25

Let yourself be guided through the islands most treasured spots and sample the true ‘island of dreams’ whilst learning of local myths and legends from our fascinating guide. Pass through the mountain villages where you will feel that time really has stopped. Take a photograph of the oldest olive tree on the island in Exo-Chora.
Don’t forget to bring spending money for the local souvenirs and gifts of rugs, lace and pottery from the market style village of Volimes. You will also find olive oil, honey, china-ware, and an abundance of handicrafts such as table-cloths, bedspreads and lace mats.
After a stop for a leisurely lunch, it is on to explore the delights of the blue caves of Porto Vromi in a small fishing boat or take a swim to cool off. This is the perfect way to see the true Zakynthian way of life.

Turtle Island Cruise - Adult €42/Child €21

A very popular excursion, book early to avoid disappointment. Enjoy a short sail around the island of Marithonisi, the nesting grounds of Caretta Caretta. Now, eyes peeled and cameras at the ready as we have fun spotting this beautiful turtle species!

Greek Style Cruise with Lunch - Adult €61/Child €30

After you have been picked up from your resorts, you will be transferred to the main harbour of Zante town, where you will join the cruise boat for an unforgettable experience cruising to the north of the island and enjoy a light lunch and some traditional dancing! The boat will cruise past the scenic eastern coast of the island up to Skinari. Our first stop will be at the famous Blue Caves discovered in 1897. Heading on to Shipwreck Beach where you can witness the amazing fifty shades of blue of the sea in this beautiful cove and where the wreck of the ship “Panayiotis” can be seen. There will be a stop for photographs of the beach and the Shipwreck from the boat. Due to safety restrictions visitors are not allowed to disembark onto the beach or swim in the cove. We will now head to our next swim stop, which will be at either Makris Gialos or Kremmydi beach. Lunch will then be served and the dancing will start! You will enjoy a traditional performance from our dancers and you can even test out your own dancing skills whilst returning back to the harbour!

Kefalonia Highlights - Adult €84/Child €60

Guests will be picked up from their resorts to connect with the ferry boat from the port of Agios Nikolaos. At the start of the tour you will see the Venetian castle of St George's as we pass by. This was the capital of Kefalonia until the end of the 17th Century. First stop will be the impressive Drogarati Cave, located outside of Sami, with its fine stalactites & stalagmites. Experts estimate that the cave is about 150 million years old. Continuing on to Melissani Lake and Cave. Take a short boat trip on the lake located within the cave and experience the fantastic colours of the water as the sunlight is reflected through the open roof. Our next stop will be at the town of Aghia Efimia. You will have time here for lunch, a stroll or souvenir shopping. After we drive towards Argostoli along the west coast of the island and have a short photo stop at the viewpoint overlooking Myrtos Beach. This is followed by a short break in Argostoli for a nice stroll around the square. The ferry boat departs Kefalonia at 18.00 and arrives back in Zakynthos at approx 19.45. You will then be transferred back to your resort.

Sunset Cruise - Adult €55/Child €39

Having been picked up from your resorts, your evening will begin at the port of Agios Sostis, where you will board the boat. Here you will embark on your 3 hour trip taking in the beautiful scenery and dramatic rocky coastline line of caves and cliffs. First you will cruise towards Marathonisi (Turtle Island) and then the cruise will continue along the scenic coastline to the Keri Caves. There will be swim stops during the cruise to enable you to enjoy the crystal clear blue waters. These stops will be in deep water, so non-confident/weak swimmers are recommended to bring swimming aids with them. Sailing on to the highlight of the cruise to see the magnificent spectacle of the sun setting over the Ionian Sea between the rocks at Mizithres. Now the boat will gently cruise back to the port of Agios Sostis, where your coaches will be waiting to return you to your resorts.

Waterpark with Transfers - Adult €40/Child €20

You are picked up from resorts and taken to the Waterpark in Sarakinado. Here you can have a fun filled day out enjoying all the rides, slides and facilities. If you are looking for an action packed day out for all the family don’t miss the opportunity for a visit. The Water Village is Zante's biggest water park occupying 30000 square meters of land. The water park has three octopus slides, Aqua spray games, Kiddies slides, Slippery rabbit, The Boomer Bowl, 300 Meter long Lazy river and the Black Hole to name but a few, including a 800 meter squared reception pool. Newest attractions include the 25 metre high Mat Racer and the Freefall Plus. You will be picked up around 16.30 in the afternoon and transferred back to your resorts.
