Kalymnos Beaches

MYRTIES BEACH​

Located next to Myrties village, this is one of the most scenic beaches on the island, with amazing views of Telendos. The water is crystal clear and usually calm, perfect for swimming and relaxing. It has a peaceful atmosphere and is great for sunset.​

MASOURI BEACH​

The most popular beach on the island, right in front of Masouri village. It offers organized facilities, sunbeds, and easy access to restaurants and bars. The setting is beautiful, with cliffs behind and views across the sea.​

KANTOUNI BEACH​

One of the few sandy beaches on Kalymnos, located near Panormos. It’s ideal for families because the water is shallow and calm. There are beach bars and tavernas nearby, making it comfortable for a full day stay.​

PLATYS GIALOS BEACH​

A long, sandy beach close to Panormos. It’s less crowded than Kantouni and has a more natural feel. The water is shallow and great for swimming, especially for those who prefer quieter spots.​

VLYCHADIA BEACH​

A peaceful beach in a small bay surrounded by hills. It’s perfect if you want quiet and relaxation. The water is very clear, and there are a couple of traditional tavernas nearby.​

EMPORIOS BEACH​

Located in a remote village in the north, this beach is calm and unspoiled. It’s great for swimming and snorkeling, with very few crowds even in summer.
